Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room settings using the nursing process. Precept new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education to validate competency. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 60 days of hire. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while modeling proficiency for clinical educators. Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS certification (for non-PICC team members)
- PALS certification (for non-PICC team members)
- BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience)
