Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room settings using the nursing process. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education for competency validation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while adhering to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum standards. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within six months of hire. Full-time, 72-hour pay period with onsite availability only.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS certification (for those not on PICC team)
- PALS certification (for those not on PICC team)
- BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
