Job Summary
Complete release of information requests by retrieving patient charts, scanning records accurately, and transmitting daily data according to established procedures. Validate authorizations, perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and date stamp all requests. Retrieve medical records for upcoming clinic visits, contact referring physicians or laboratories for missing reports, and sort, file, and collate diagnostic and operative reports into appropriate sequences. Answer telephone and email inquiries regarding record locations and demographics while obtaining necessary patient releases. Support Central Delivery by distributing incoming mail to various organizational parts. Schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm; compensation is commensurate with experience.
