Job Summary
Maintain offender health records, retrieve files for scheduled appointments, and file offender health data. Initiate records for new or transferred intakes, review existing files for completeness, and prepare reports as needed. Requires high school diploma, prior experience with medical records systems, and current CPR/BLS certification. Security clearance, drug screen, and criminal background check are mandatory. Available Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Pay range $18-$20 per hour. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Prior experience with medical records systems and services
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Available Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a medical terminology course preferred
