Job Summary
Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out procedures, verify insurance coverage, and handle phone inquiries. Audit appointment schedules, confirm attendance, and collect intake information before visits. Fill open provider slots by contacting waiting lists for earlier appointments. Provide product education and sell skincare items. Maintain patient records and perform significant multitasking to complete duties promptly. Practice Manager may assign additional job duties based on needs.
Required Qualifications
- Travel between San Ramon, Pleasanton and Livermore clinics
- Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
- Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
- Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
- EClinicalWorks, EMA, or other EMR software
- COVID-19 primary series vaccination
- Eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify)

- Helpful but not required skills to have: Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
