Job Summary
Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through the consultation and treatment process. Responsibilities include answering inbound calls, texts, and emails; conducting patient intake and collecting necessary information; verifying insurance eligibility and explaining next steps; scheduling consultations and follow-up appointments; following up with leads and patients to encourage appointment completion; educating patients on available treatment options; maintaining accurate CRM records; coordinating with clinical staff regarding patient needs and concerns; conducting post-treatment follow-up and wellness check-ins; and ensuring every patient receives a compassionate, professional experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in patient intake, patient coordination, healthcare customer service, admissions, or a similar role
- Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral or minimal accent
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience handling phone-based patient or client interactions
- Experience using CRM systems and web-based applications like GoHighLevel, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar systems.
