Job Summary
Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and verify insurance coverage and eligibility. Handle phone inquiries, maintain patient records, and audit appointment schedules by confirming attendance and collecting intake information. Fill open slots by contacting waiting lists for providers with available time. Provide product education and sell skincare products. This role requires significant multitasking and may include additional duties assigned by the Practice Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
- Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
- Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
- EClinicalWorks, EMA, or other EMR software
