Job Summary
Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and verify insurance coverage and eligibility. Handle phone inquiries, maintain patient records, and audit appointment schedules by confirming attendance and collecting intake information. Fill open slots by contacting waiting lists and future appointments for providers with availability. Provide product education and sell skincare products while multitasking to complete daily duties promptly. Practice Manager may assign additional job duties based on practice needs.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
- Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
- Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
- EClinicalWorks, EMA, or other EMR software
