Job Summary
Warmly welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and verify insurance coverage and eligibility. Handle phone inquiries, maintain patient records, and audit appointment schedules by confirming attendance and collecting intake information. Fill open slots by contacting waiting lists and future appointment patients to offer earlier times. Provide product education and sell available skincare items while multitasking to complete duties promptly. The Practice Manager may assign additional job duties based on practice needs.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
- Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
- Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
- EClinicalWorks, EMA, or other EMR software
