Job Summary
The Medical Receptionist/Customer Service Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients at Palm Medical Centers, handling patient check-in/check-out, answering phones, verifying insurance, directing callers, and coordinating with other staff. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining directories, handling visitor arrival, transferring messages, and performing clerical tasks while ensuring reception areas are tidy. The role requires exceptional customer service and phone etiquette, ability to enter information into computers, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to connect with patients to put them at ease. eCW experience is required, and the position may require commuting to other centers. Education: High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of medical front desk experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift, in-person at Zephyrhills locations.
