Job Summary
Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard, greets visitors, and manages messages and visitor logs. Handles routine inquiries about location, hours, and contact information; may perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as scheduling, mail handling, and courier duties. Requires high school diploma or GED and 1+ year healthcare experience; strong customer service, multitasking, organization, and MS Office/EMR skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Schedule is 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential local travel and mileage reimbursement; role includes participation in TB screening and HireVue interview process as part of Humana/CenterWell hiring. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
- Preferred Qualifications: Value-based care model experience
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
