Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders using sophisticated equipment, accounting for individual patient needs and age-related factors. Utilize clinical judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and treatment to produce optimal high-quality images. Obtain an Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License upon hire, with National Certification required within 180 days. New graduates must secure a permanent license within six months. Work multiple shifts on-site at Providence Portland Medical Center as a part-time per diem role. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, or bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire
