Job Summary
Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) sought to join RVH's Medical Imaging team. Responsibilities include performing General Radiography examinations, participating in fluoroscopy, CT, breast imaging, and interventional radiology procedures, maintaining patient care quality and safety, collaborating with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, supervising or evaluating students from affiliated programs, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Required skills include delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, strong communication, independent judgment within scope of practice, adaptability in emergencies, and commitment to ongoing professional growth; familiarity with Safety Code 35, RHPA, and standards of practice; BCLS completion and CMRT/registration in good standing (CAMRT preferred). Willingness to participate in departmental committees and education/training opportunities; eligible for relocation support. Education: graduation from accredited radiography program and active registration in Ontario. Relocation up to $7,500 offered based on distance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program
- Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program
- Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred
