Job Summary
Medical Radiation Technologist – MRT(R) to perform General Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) examinations at RVH. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic imaging, collaborate with radiologists, nursing and interdisciplinary teams, and participate in education, quality improvement, and professional development. Responsibilities include conducting General Radiography and CT studies, maintaining clinical competency, ensuring safety and adherence to standards (Safety Code 35, RHPA), and contributing to process improvements. Opportunities include involvement in departmental committees, and relocation support up to $7,500 based on distance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
- Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
- Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
- Experience or willingness to train in CT an asset.
