Job Summary

Perform Interventional Radiology procedures using advanced imaging systems in accordance with clinical standards and departmental protocols. Provide exceptional care to patients, families, and caregivers while coordinating daily schedules and prioritizing emergency or add-on cases as required. Effectively communicate with inter-professional teams to work accurately, safely, and efficiently in a high-volume setting. Participate in professional development, teaching, and mentoring activities as needed. Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills to respond to changing and emergent situations while ensuring patient and team safety.

Required Qualifications

  • CMRITO registration
  • CAMRT registration
  • Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification, with maintenance of certification
  • Current enrollment in/completion of the CAMRT Interventional Radiology Specialty certificate program

  • Related technologist experience in a hospital environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and comfort with decision making including an ability to respond to changing and emergent situations
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated good judgement to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team
