Job Summary
Medical Imaging Technologist role performing CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with departmental policies and standards. Responsibilities include producing diagnostic-quality CT and X-ray images, providing exemplary patient care across Emergency Department, In-Patient, and Out-Patient settings, preparing written/electronic reports, organizing and prioritizing workflow, collaborating with care units and other imaging modalities, participating in QC/QA programs, operating/troubleshooting imaging equipment, contributing to teaching and safety/quality improvement activities, and adhering to organizational policies while maintaining patient confidentiality. Requires CMRT0 registration and approved Radiography training; CT training and CT imaging courses preferred. Hours are rotating 7.5-hour shifts; salary $38.783-$52.928 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of approved training program in Radiography
- Current registration and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
