Job Summary
Responsible for evaluating donor eligibility and conducting health assessments for plasmapheresis procedures. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while ensuring accurate donor management. Requires a healthcare-related educational background (EMT, Nurse), with mandatory licensure and CPR certification. Effective communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage emergency situations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program, such as Physician, Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
- Certified/licensed as an emergency medical technician (EMT Basic, EMT 2-intermediate, or 3-advanced/paramedic)
- Current license issued by the state where the donor center is located
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- One year experience in hospital, field care, or experience in a plasma center preferred
- Excellent patient/donor assessment skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations in accordance with standard medical care practices
- Possess effective physical and clinical assessment skills, customer service, and people management skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred

- Must work within the scope of the professional license/certification, as defined by the state in which the work is performed
