Job Summary
The Medical Professional at Octapharma Plasma is responsible for evaluating donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunizations, conducting health assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves managing donor interactions and monitoring reactions, alongside maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates should possess appropriate state certification as an EMT or nursing professional, have at least one year of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong assessment and communication skills. Responsibilities include training staff and performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program
- Certified/licensed as an emergency medical technician (EMT Basic, EMT 2-intermediate, or 3-advanced/paramedic)
- Possess a current state license for moderate complexity testing
- Must have current CPR certification
- One (1)-year experience in hospital or plasma center preferred
- Must complete training program and competency assessments
