Job Summary
The Medical Professional (EMT/Paramedic) at Octapharma Plasma is responsible for assessing donor eligibility for plasmapheresis, conducting medical history reviews, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires understanding of donor management systems, effective communication with donors, and managing donor care during procedures. Candidates must have graduated from a relevant healthcare program, hold a current EMT certification, and possess strong clinical and assessment skills. Additional duties include mentoring other staff and adhering to SOPs related to donor safety and care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program (Physician, Nurse, EMT certified)
- Must maintain current and valid license and CPR certification
- One year experience in hospital or plasma center preferred
- Must complete training program and competency assessments
- Must possess basic computer knowledge
