Job Summary
As a Medical Professional at Octapharma Plasma, you will determine donor eligibility for plasmapheresis procedures, perform medical history reviews, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will provide medical care to donors, monitor for adverse reactions, and maintain confidentiality of records. The position requires a graduate of a healthcare-related program, certification as an EMT, and a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage emergency situations are essential. You will need to work various shifts and uphold accurate documentation in the donor management system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program (such as Physician, Nurse, or EMT)
- Certified/licensed as an emergency medical technician
- One (1)-year experience in the hospital, field care, or plasma center preferred
- Must maintain current and valid license and pass medical credential evaluation
- Must maintain current CPR certification
- Any specific state licensing requirements must be met per location
- Must successfully complete training program and competency assessments using OPI approved training modules
