Job Summary
The role of Medical Professional (EMT/PARAMEDIC/LPN) at Octapharma Plasma involves evaluating donor eligibility for plasmapheresis procedures, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulations. You will conduct medical history reviews, manage donor interactions during procedures, perform health assessments, and maintain accurate documentation. Essential qualifications include a graduate of a healthcare-related program, certification as an EMT, and the ability to manage emergencies. One year of experience in a medical setting is preferred, and excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program such as Physician, Nurse (LPN or RN)
- Certification as an EMT (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced/Paramedic)
- Must maintain current and valid license and CPR certification
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Excellent patient/donor assessment skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations and follow SOPs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a plasma center
- Experience in field care or hospital settings
