Job Summary
As a Medical Professional at Octapharma Plasma, you will evaluate donor eligibility, perform medical history reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will need to administer appropriate medical care to donors, monitor their reactions, and document all interactions meticulously. Candidates must have a healthcare-related educational background, a current EMT certification, and the ability to manage emergency situations. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program such as Physician, Nurse (LPN or RN)
- Must possess a current license issued by the state where the donor center is located
- One (1) year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs and protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Current and valid EMT certification
- Excellent patient/donor assessment skills
- Effective physical and clinical assessment skills
- Customer service and people management skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills, with preferred knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Additional Requirements
- Must work within the scope of professional license/certification defined by the state
- Specific state regulations for Alabama, California, New Jersey, Ohio, and Washington must be met regarding staffing during plasmapheresis
