Job Summary
Join Octapharma Plasma as a Medical Professional, where you will evaluate donor eligibility, maintain compliance with regulations, and manage donor care in plasmapheresis procedures. You will be responsible for conducting medical history reviews, performing health assessments, and ensuring donor safety while following standard operating procedures. Candidates must be graduates of recognized healthcare programs and hold relevant EMT, nursing certifications, or licenses as required by state law. You should have strong assessment skills, be organized, and possess a current CPR certification. Additionally, you will participate in training others, maintain accurate records, and respond to donor reactions.
Required Qualifications
- EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate, or Paramedic certification
- Current CPR certification
- Compliance with state-specific licensing requirements
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Successful completion of training program and competency assessments
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized healthcare-related educational program
- Current and valid license as an EMT, Nurse, or similar certification
- Experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center preferred
- Excellent patient/donor assessment skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations
- Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
