Job Summary
Medical Principal Scientist responsible for shaping and executing global claims and scientific communication strategies across Wellness applications (MVM and Digestive Health). Lead evidence generation and substantiation activities to support superior consumer claims, translate scientific/clinical evidence into substantiation packages and validated messages, and develop science communication plans (CME, Ad Boards, Congresses) with ready-to-deploy tools and content. Collaborate with Global Expert and cross-functional teams to align science, claims, and communication for trusted, differentiated brand messaging; guide cross-functional teams to timely delivery across the innovation portfolio. Stay aware of competitive landscape and apply evolving evidence-generation modalities (RWE, Digital/Decentral, devices/diagnostics, rapid consumer studies) to evaluate opportunities. Partner with external KOLs in MVM and Digestive Health. Location options include Warren, NJ or Richmond, VA in a hybrid model (in-office minimum 3 days/week). Salary range $161,919–$222,638 plus 18% on-target bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in biomedical/health sciences/nutritional sciences
- 5+ years of experience in Medical/Scientific Affairs in pharma/consumer healthcare/food/dietary supplement industry
- Experience translating complex scientific evidence into clear claims and compliant communication
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Commercial, and other R&D teams
- Strong scientific storytelling capability across visual and digital formats
