Job Summary
Complete demographic and insurance registration, perform charge entry, schedule patients, and verify insurance information. Handle other front desk and clerical duties as assigned. Maintain accurate data entry and apply basic accounting principles within the medical office environment. Utilize knowledge of payer requirements for referrals and pre-authorization, along with proficiency in computerized billing systems such as GE or EPIC. Requires two to three years of medical office experience and strong customer service skills.
