Job Summary
Provides clerical and administrative support for a medical practice focused on vascular surgery. Greets and welcomes patients, verifies demographics and insurance, answers phones, routes messages, and communicates with patients both verbally and via the EMR system. Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, tests, and referrals; schedules and reschedules according to office protocols. Collects co-pays, reconciles deposits, and retrieves records for new and established patients. Performs intake and processing of medical records and ensures compliance with responsibilities. Requires ability to travel between practices as needed. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent; 6 months of experience preferred. Strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry, and a healthcare environment orientation are desired. The role offers a $500 sign-on bonus for external candidates and is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Located in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Required Qualifications
