Medical Practice Patient Representative - IMAW NC Primary Care - Westport, CT

Greet and welcome patients upon arrival while ensuring accuracy of demographics and insurance information. Answer phones, route calls, take messages, and communicate verbally or via the EMR system. Register, verify, and schedule patient appointments, testing, and referrals according to office protocols. Collect co-pays, reconcile money for deposit, and obtain and coordinate record retrieval for new and established patients. Perform intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable. Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position and maintain organizational values. This role supports the IMAW NC Primary Care practices within Northwell's network of over 1,000 outpatient facilities.
