Job Summary
Join Perkins&Will Miami as a Medical Planner in a collaborative Healthcare team. Responsibilities include master planning, design expertise in medical architecture, assisting clients with healthcare facility programming, and providing layouts and design solutions. Requires proficiency in BIM, building codes, and design software including Revit and conceptual tools. Ideal candidates will have strong medical planning skills, a degree in Architecture, and healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in medical planning
- Strong project architect skills
- Ability to understand and execute all aspects of the design process and project complexities
- Strong and effective communication and direction
Desired Qualifications
- Professional architectural or interior design license strongly preferred
- Healthcare experience
- LEED GA within 6 months of hire
- Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you: LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation
- Strong medical planning skills
- Additional depth in either Interior Design or Project Architect skillset a plus
