Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and reduce pain by developing personalized rehabilitation programs and implementing evidence-based treatment plans. Operate specialized equipment safely, assess patient progress, and adjust interventions while documenting evaluations and outcomes in medical records. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and assist in discharge planning for smooth community transitions. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards. This 8-week assignment in Lady Lake, Florida, requires a valid PT license, a doctorate degree, and strong clinical skills to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy experience
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
