Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and reduce pain. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and implement treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy. Operate specialized equipment safely, assess patient progress to adjust interventions, and accurately document all evaluations and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and assist with discharge planning. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards. This 13-week travel assignment in Preston, Minnesota requires a valid license, a doctorate degree, and strong clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy experience
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
