Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and reduce pain. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and implement treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy. Operate specialized equipment safely, assess patient progress, and document evaluations and outcomes in medical records. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care and assist in discharge planning. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards. This 13-week travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas requires a valid PT license and Doctorate degree.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Must be able to travel
