Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week assignment in Mt Olive, NC. The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals; implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain; operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities with proper maintenance; assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize outcomes; maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and regulatory standards; engage in quality assurance and professional development activities to stay current with best practices; participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home-based settings. English-language communication required. Physical abilities include remaining stationary, moving equipment, pushing/pulling, and bending. Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy experience
