Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings by evaluating patients, reviewing care plans, and modifying interventions based on ongoing assessments. Provide direct therapy using functional strategies tailored to individual physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities while overseeing physical therapy assistants, techs, and students to ensure safe patient care. Maintain knowledge of proper equipment use and communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members regarding status and progress. Work primarily during days with rotating weekends and holidays, eligible for student loan repayment and retirement matching.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
