Job Summary
Seeking a Medical Payment Specialist with experience in billing and payment posting for a fully remote position at Visualutions. Must have knowledge of EOB evaluation, AR resolution, and insurance claims follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of MEDICAL billing, payment posting, accounts receivable experience
- ICD-10/CPT knowledge required
- Experience in working aging AR
- Experience working with insurance companies
- Ability to work with a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload
- 10 Key – accuracy and proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- FQHC/Community Health Center experience preferred
- CPS, AthenaOne, or EPIC experience preferred
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and be computer literate
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MCO’s, and commercial insurance
