Job Summary
Conduct surgical pathology and cytology case reviews, including breast, GI, GU, and non-gyn cytology, with flexible bone marrow biopsy requirements. Perform frozen section capabilities where preferred. Manage assignment details and time entry through an online portal while adhering to a ~2 weeks per month schedule with mandatory holiday coverage through summer 2026. Split coverage between two medical centers. Receive paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
Required Qualifications
- ~2 weeks per month schedule with holiday coverage required
- ~575 surgical pathology and 54 cytology cases monthly
- ~ Split coverage between two medical centers
- ~ Surgical pathology focus -- breast, GI, GU, and non-gyn cytology
- ~ Flexible bone marrow biopsy requirements
- ~ Coverage needed through summer 2026
- ~ Charter member of NALTO
