Medical Oncology Nurse

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, perform nursing assessments and care planning, administer treatments and medications within scope of practice, participate in care coordination with management, physicians and staff, and delegate duties to technical staff while maintaining accountability; role includes potential charge nurse responsibilities and emphasis on therapeutic communication, collaboration, and adherence to nursing standards to support patient outcomes and nursing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse: Current TN licensure or compact licensure
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- ONS Chemo / Biotherapy Fundamentals Provider, or ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
