Medical Oncology Nurse

Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, care plans, and treatment implementation for assigned patients. Execute initial triage evaluations to assign acuity levels and administer medications and procedures within scope of practice. Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and ancillary services while managing delegation to technical support. Respond timely to physician and staff requests regarding patient issues. Maintain a safe therapeutic environment through therapeutic communication and performance improvement activities. This role supports the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a comprehensive 740+ bed facility offering oncology, heart and vascular, and women's services programs.
