Job Summary
Gastrointestinal Oncologist role focusing on GI malignancies in outpatient practice with inpatient consult responsibilities; opportunities for GI cancer research and clinical trials; team-based care with oncology nurses navigators and palliative care support; employed by Intermountain Medical Group with relocation and various financial incentives including sign-on, student loan, residency stipend, and relocation assistance; practice site includes Intermountain Medical Center and Salt Lake Valley clinics; requires MD/DO, US residency, board certification/eligibility in hematology/medical oncology, Utah license, DEA, and credentialing process; visa sponsorship considered case-by-case.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- U.S. ACGME Residency Training Program
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
