Job Summary
Gastrointestinal Oncologist focusing on GI malignancies in an Intermountain Health Academic-group setting. Outpatient clinical practice with inpatient consult responsibilities, integrated with an oncology-nurse navigation and palliative care support structure. Opportunities for GI-related research and clinical trials. Practice locations include Intermountain Medical Center and Salt Lake Valley clinic sites, with salary incentives and relocation assistance. Requires MD or DO, U.S. residency training, board certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology, Utah medical license and DEA, and successful credentialing; visa sponsorship considered on a case-by-case basis. The role emphasizes team-based care and commitment to patient experience within a large health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- U.S. ACGME Residency Training Program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
