Medical/Oncology - Clinical Nurse

Provides direct patient care activities for oncology patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within standards of nursing care. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates patients and families on illness, treatment, and home-care needs, and medications. Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance and engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual care plans with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and respects patient values, preferences, and cultural considerations. This is a safety-sensitive RN role at Missouri Baptist Medical Center with Magnet designation and a focus on advancing nursing care within the oncology unit.
