Job Summary
Evaluate and manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies across inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide comprehensive cancer care including new consultations, active treatment management, survivorship follow-up, and development of individualized plans utilizing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. Monitor treatment response, manage toxicities, and coordinate multidisciplinary care through tumor boards and care planning conferences. Participate in on-call coverage and supervise residents or advanced practice providers while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and complying with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of an accredited Hematology and/or Medical Oncology fellowship program
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
