Job Summary
Brand-new cancer center opening in June 2025 seeking BC/BE Hematology & Medical Oncology physicians to join Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. Role involves delivering high-quality cancer care within a collaborative, physician-led system, training fellows/residents, participating in clinical trials, and leveraging a fully integrated electronic health record (EPIC). Opportunities include exposure to education programs with Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, potential faculty appointment, research collaboration, loan/reimbursement programs, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, and broad career growth within a large integrated health system.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (MD/DO)
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology & Medical Oncology
- Ability to participate in clinical trials and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
