Job Summary
Medical Oncologist sought for Cancer Center of South Florida in partnership with Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. The program offers specialties in Neuro-Oncology, Head & Neck, Thoracic, Sarcoma, Melanoma and Benign Hematology, with a strong emphasis on inpatient/outpatient clinical care, Clinical Trials Research, and translational research. Academic affiliation with USF’s Morsani College of Medicine and opportunities for clinical teaching, research collaboration, and potential leadership in medical oncology within a nationally ranked academic health system. Board Certified/Eligible status required; licensure in Florida or eligibility anticipated; candidates with extensive clinical trial experience and an academic track record are ideal.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited School of Medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Completion of fellowship in medical oncology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABIM in Medical Oncology
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
- MD degree from an accredited School of Medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Completion of fellowship in medical oncology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Experience/leadership in thoracic oncology (preferred)
- Clinical teaching and clinical research experience (preferred)
