Job Summary
Medical Oncologist for Phase I and early-phase clinical trials lead to drive Phase I program development and trial activation. Lead PI roles for investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies; provide clinical care in oncology with a focus on thoracic or breast malignancies as needed; mentor trainees and junior faculty; participate in night/weekend inpatient/consult service coverage; collaborate with translational scientists and multidisciplinary teams; contribute to teaching and the academic mission of Tufts University School of Medicine; position located in the Boston/Cambridge area with strong institutional support for early-phase trials and industry partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD with board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
- Subspecialty focus in thoracic or breast malignancies preferred
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Principal Investigator on Phase I or early-phase clinical trials
- Record of academic productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and clinical trial leadership
- Experience or strong interest in leading collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotech partners
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
