Job Summary
Medical Oncologist/Hematologist, board-certified physician at Cancer Center of South Florida (CCSF). Provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of cancer within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include creating personalized treatment plans, clear communication with patients and families, maintaining up-to-date knowledge in medical oncology, participating in tumor boards and care planning, and representing CCSF in the community. Lead in quality, documentation, and coordination of care, while engaging in continuous learning, clinical research, and professional leadership. Location: Lakeland, FL; in-person clinical duties in a high-volume oncology setting. Must maintain a valid medical license and comply with relevant healthcare laws and CCSF policies.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
- Medical license and active/unrestricted practice
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to continuous learning and leadership in oncology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with tumor boards and clinical care planning
- Compliance with HIPAA, FCA, AKS, Stark Law
