Job Summary
PRN Medical Oncologist opportunity in Denver, CO for Intermountain Health's oncology team, providing as-needed (PRN) coverage for shifts at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge and the infusion center near Sloan's Lake. Compensation includes a PRN rate of $283/hour for clinical hours with call paid at $35.83/hour for nights and weekends, along with a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and CME allowance. Requires MD or DO degree, CO medical license (or ability to obtain), fellowship in Hematology/Oncology, ABMS board certification or eligibility, and a minimum of 2 years of practice experience. Location: St Josephs Oncology Center, Denver, CO (40 scheduled hours per week). The role emphasizes care delivery in medical oncology within an integrated health system and includes participation in ongoing patient care at the Denver infusion center and hospital-based oncology services.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Unrestricted physician license in the state of CO or able to obtain
- Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology
- American Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of practice experience
