Job Summary
Join the Boston Medical Center South as a Medical Oncologist, supporting adult oncology patients through evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cancer. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans with chemotherapy and immunotherapy, conducting consultations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree, be Board Certified/Eligible in Medical Oncology, have completed a residency and fellowship, and be eligible for licensure in Massachusetts. This full-time position emphasizes patient-centered care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity for involvement in quality improvement and clinical research projects.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in community-based oncology practice
- Interest in program development, quality improvement, or clinical research
- Bilingual skills (highly valued given patient population)
Additional Requirements
