Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies while administering and monitoring systemic anti-cancer therapies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in tumor board meetings, and provide ongoing clinical follow-up to assess treatment response and manage side effects. Maintain accurate medical records, mentor junior staff, and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives. Requires an MBBS degree with MD/DM in Oncology, three years of post-qualification experience, and a valid medical license.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with MD/DM in Oncology or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology
- Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or cancer care setting
- Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload of cancer patients, including advanced-stage disease
- Strong knowledge of current oncology guidelines (e.g., NCCN, ESMO, Indian Council of Medical Research)
- Proficiency in interpreting tumor markers, imaging studies, and pathology reports
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous learning
