Job Summary
Neurointensivist physician sought to join Mercy Medical Group’s Neurocritical Care service in the Sacramento region. Fellowship-trained Neurologist with BE/BC in Neurology and dedicated Neurocritical Care Fellowship; responsible for high-quality care in our Neuro-ICU, supporting Stroke Center activities, collaborating with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams, and performing EVD placements. Competitive base salary with additional compensation opportunities (TeleStroke call, NeuroHospitalist call), sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, PSLF eligible, 401(k) with match, and CME allowance. Notation of not being an H1/J1 opportunity. Licensure in California required; prior residency in Neurology and board certification emphasized; experience with multimodal monitoring is a plus. The role supports the Mercy Neurological Institute at Joint Commission-certified Stroke Centers and Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California; multiple Neuro ICU beds and a leadership position within a growing, research-active Neurosciences department. The work location is in Carmichael/Sacramento, CA."
Required Qualifications

- California medical license (unrestricted)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
