Job Summary
Neurointensivist physician sought to join Mercy Medical Group’s Neurocritical Care service in Carmichael, CA. Fellowship-trained Neurocritical Care specialist with BE/BC in Neurology will support care for critically ill neurological patients in the Neuro-ICU, collaborate with a comprehensive interdisciplinary stroke team, and participate in a Joint Commission-certified Stroke Center. Requires EVD placement experience, California medical license, and completion of an accredited post-graduate training program. Opportunities include a base salary of $518,992 with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, potential TeleStroke and NeuroHospitalist call, and a shareholder/partner track; comprehensive benefits and CME support are offered. The role operates within MMG’s Neurosciences Institute with ties to Dignity Health’s stroke services, research involvement, and a large provider network in the Sacramento region.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Neurology with dedicated Neurocritical Care Fellowship training
- EVD placement experience
- Unrestricted California medical license
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
